Greeted Arrived prior to appointment time. Vehicle excepted to install parts that had been on back order a good bit. Added, customer states sluggish to start, please check batteries and charing system. At check out was told technician states batteries holding charge.... I asked was the charging system checked. Service consultant had to go ask technician , then the consultant came back to tell me ok, I guess the batteries are not good...and the alternator is fine. Not feeling all warm and fuzzy about this. Ugh

I was aquainted with Zach Crego, Service Advisor, at my first oil change on my 2025 GMC AT4. When purchased, I had AMP power steps installed. After about 4months the passenger side front step would not deploy when opening the front passenger door but would deploy when opening the rear passenger door. I contacted Zach and made an appointment. When I arrived I ensured the step was still not working. When Zach checked me in he needed some data from the OBD port. He unplugged the step OBD and plugged in his reader then plugged the step OBD back in. The step started working. Zach said they would go ahead & check everything out. They did. Took about an hour and Zach brought my truck back and said no charge, covered under warranty. I've worked with a specific GMC dealer in the valley for about 30 yrs. When we purchased a 2nd home in Show Low I thought I'd try Horne out for service work on a prior truck. I can honestly say it's night & day difference on how Horne treats their customers compared to how the dealership in the valley does. I'll be doing all of my business with Zach at Horne Auto Center.

2 hour oil change! Got there at 7:20 for a 7:30 appointment on a Saturday. Your staff need let customers know that there will a delay due whatever. I had to go to the check in. At 09:30. My truck was in lot. Never talked to the lady that seemed too nervous and preoccupied. Another service man found my paperwork and took care of it. Customer service?

Quick service

I was welcomed by attentive serviceman. I told him that the check engine light came on and the air conditioner didn't. He was quick with checking under hood to see if belts were working. He assessed problem and said he would need parts. Though it took a couple days, I didn't mind. It's nice to have air conditioning again. Thanks Horne for hiring great employees.

He was courteous during the transaction at the dealer he also took the time to make sure I understood what all the buttons and knobs are for. We had an issue with our infotainment center on the way to our home in New Mexico and he had us going again in less than 10 minutes over the phone!! He is an asset to Horne Automotive!

I have been taking my 2001 Silverado truck to Horn Auto Center for years now. The quality of work and professionalism by the Service staff is outstanding. The work performed to repair any issue is handled with professional and excellence!

After having my truck for 5 days they finally gave me a quote That was totally outrageous. I had my truck towed out of their lot and took it to a real mechanic that charged less than 10% of the quote I got from Horne Chevy

My key fob recognition problem appears to be fixed (although no one could tell me what caused this). Time will tell if it remains operational. My TPMS was knocked out and could not be reset at the dealership. No one else in this town, it appears, can reset it.

Went in to consult with Richelle Whipple on a specific vehicle, drove away in said vehicle.

Disappointed, I understand and acknowledge my scheduled appointment was not until 1:30 however I find it unacceptable that a person can pull up to the check in station and have to wait over 25 minutes and no one comes to greet them or at least acknowledge that they are there it took a phone call to the manager to get someone to come out. Then a scheduled service package was set up online and they still needed to ask what was wanted to be done to the vehicle.

I made my appointment more than a week in advance and provided all the items i needed to get complete. Brought my truck in first thing Wednesday morning and went over all the items again with the service tech. Received an email later in the afternoon about “additional services” during their inspection. I agreed and signed the electronic document. Called Horne the following Monday (5 days later) since i never heard back from anyone regarding the status of my truck. I was told that my service tech was out of the office until Thursday. I inquired with the “other service tech” whether or not i was going to get any feedback regarding my truck. He stated he would call me later once he found out. I received a phone call late in the afternoon saying my truck was ready to be picked up. I informed the service tech that I did not have ride back to their dealership and inquired if they could do a courtesy pickup. He said he’d have a lady call me in the following morning. I never heard from anyone, so i called the dealership at 11:30 am. I was informed that the service tech i was dealing with was busy with a customer, so I left a message for him to call me back. I never heard back from him the rest of the day. This made it hard to plan whether i was receiving a courtesy shuttle to the dealership or if i was stuck on my own finding a ride. My neighbor ended up taking me the following morning. Even at this point in time, i still never received a return phone call from the service tech. The annoying part is i just spent almost $2000 in repairs and i never received the courtesy call promised and/or any sort of courtesy ride. In addition, after i paid my invoice and received my truck keys, i noticed that my tires never got rotated nor did the center cap for my wheel get replaced. Both of these items were on the “to do list” that i requested a couple times. Not having my truck for an entire week is tough but what makes it worse is that it was there for a week and not everything got addressed.

From the start to the finish, I felt like a valued customer (even though I didn't purchase my vehicle from this dealership). Upon arriving in the tow truck with my vehicle, my wife and I were pleasantly greeted by Cherish. She became our Service Adviser. She set us up in an Enterprise rental car and made us feel at ease that the dealership would look at our vehicle in a timely manner. She would call with updates and contact Enterprise to extend our contract as needed. This was a big stress reliever. She was always friendly and kind. The repair service was completed soon after parts arrived and I feel the Tech did an amazing job. There were no leaks, the area around the repair (transmission) was wiped clean. This instilled confidence that the repair was done correctly. I have since put over 500 miles, post repair, of mountainous driving, while towing a trailer, with no issues.

When I picked up my truck the heater was turned to high and the fan was turned to the highest setting. The seat was adjusted all the way back. I didn't have it like that when I dropped it off. There was no need to even touch those settings to program a key.

Took vehicle in with front end noise. No one drove vehicle. Said it was driver side wheel bearing. Paid and picked up. Drove 2 miles and took back still making the same noise. So 900.00 later now they are saying it’s passenger side wheel bearing Waiting to see what that charge will be

It was faster service.

I bought a 2024 Chevy trailblazer on December 29. I made it 1.8 miles from the dealership and the car broke down with rodent damage on the wiring. They repaired it a month later all my electrical systems went haywire and the steering wheel started jerking left to right in the car was bucking like a horse, and all the emergency lights were going off and everything I’m reading says that’s an electrical problem. Well Chris the service advisor called and let me know I have a Bent subframe and then when I got there and he was walking me in to meet with Joe the Sales Manager at his request Chris let me know it looks like it was pre-existing. They never addressed my electrical concern. My car is still telling me that there’s people in front of me when there’s not like I told them when I dropped my car off. It’s not a safe vehicle. Now let’s get to the meeting. They brought me in and it sounded like I was gonna get a buyback which should be the case, considering the condition of my vehicle that they sold me. Instead, he had a salesman named Steve take me around drive cars. Pick one out came at me with a bad attitude and wasted my whole day. I will be reporting to AZDA and the Better Business Bureau after I talked to corporate, depending on what they wanna do.

While having one of our vehicles in the service department diagnosed we decided to look into trading in another one of our vehicles. Caleb our salesman made the experience very comfortable. He listened to our needs and showed us the vehicles he knew would work for us. He made the process simple and relaxed.

Previous to my appointment Asked to see my Allison transmission Tech racked the truck. The service manager had no answer as to why I was sold an Allison transmission but did not actually have one. Also asked that my GM points be used They wrre not yet again The person that was my service advisor was out on Thursday afternoon. I stopped in the dealership as I had no contact Wednesday all day and no contact Thursday am. I had a hard leave date for a trip and had to pick up my truck on Friday am finished or not. Another adviser was kind enough to verify the part had arrived that am And he was able to get my truck into the shop, and get it completed at 4:30pm No shuttle service is offered, so I had to pay a ride service another 30$ to get to my vehicle. Arrived just as service was closing at 5:35 pm Horne service fell short this time

Service Department keep me informed about parts needed to repair my vehicle. Upon further review it needed some other parts. When done they called to inform me that my vehicle is being repaired, and when done they called to tell me it’s done.

My car has been there for over a month and they still haven't found the problem. I got my car back after the month and I and my husband test drove it and it still has the same problem. I brought the car back on Saturday 1/10/26 after getting it back on 1/9/26. I don't believe they have a master mechanic. They just go by the computer and not with what is happening.

I went in for a possible windshield issue, and was so appreciative that the technician decided to scan for codes. One came up even though the check engine light wasn’t on, for a transmission issue. This saved me a significant amount of money in repair work, as it was covered under warranty. The only problem was that the mechanic neglected to order transmission fluid from the parts department before they closed, which resulted in an extra trip the next day to pick up the car. Overall, it was a good experience.

I got charged for something I didn’t ask for. I didn’t give permission or even ask for it. You also hade my car from 1-5 and I never got. Call/text that my truck was done. First time this has happened in 2 years. Worst visit I’ve had by far.

Confusion with the whole experience, at the end everything was good!

Service was excellent, however $415 for a key fob was outrageous. They’re available on line for $25 and yes they have to be programmed to the vehicle. Makes you wonder why people don’t want to go to dealerships.

I could not ask for better service. I came in for my first Oil change and inspection with an appointment. Checked in at 1:29 app for 1:30 and was out the door at 2:02 with completed task. Great customer service !!!!

Our experience was very positive. The staff is always friendly and willing to help , not just the day we purchased, but anytime. The explanation of the electronics and all the screens by Richelle Whipple was awesome. Richelle even went as far as getting my apps set up on my phone and giving me the complete tour of my new car.

Very disappointing to have a 130 appointment and not have my truck taken back until 3 pm, my service was completed at 4 pm. A very long day at the dealership.

Pete, the service representative, was great. However the technician kept saying the issue (gps/information) repeatedly kept failing (even at the dealership when I went to pick it up). The service manager provided a rental and after a week I picked it up. The second issue (transmission not shifting up after using manual shifting down hill) was not determined to be an issue.

Went in last minute with issues. I live out of town and the department went above and beyon to take care of my vehicle repairs!

just got an oil change and tire rotation, it was fine except the wait. 1.75 hours is too long to wait for an oil change.

Pete is an ecellent communicator. Although it took longer to replace the front camera than was scheduled. Your awesome tech wouldn't let me take it home until he worked out all the glitches. Sorry I didn't get his name but I greatly appreciate your dedication to problem solving and sticking with it until you got b it resolved. You also have a very comfortable waiting room where I met some new friends. Pete Fairbanks is a very knowledgable and calming Service Advisor. Love dealing with is dealership: very polite, competent and happy employees.

I brought my Chevy van into Horne Auto Center Chevrolet to have the rear brakes replaced and the hinge on the passenger side door repaired. The service tech was well aware of the fact that I didn't want to spend much money as I was going to sell the van. Horne had my van for 2 1/2 weeks without a thing being done and I had no communication from them. I remembered the power port wasn't working. So I asked them to replace that. They checked the power port and said it wasn't working because it had a bad connection. So they repaired the connection. (That's like taking my dirty van in to be washed and they took a rag and wiped it down and called it clean.) We had to call the warranty company to find out that the hinge wasn't covered. (Note that WE had to call the warranty company. Either the dealership wasn't talking to them or the warranty company wasn't responding to the dealership. Now that's service!! (That's also why the van was in Horne's service department for 2 1/2 weeks without anything being done, because there was no communication between the two entities.) We had no problem getting through to the warranty company. And this is the warranty that I paid $6000 for when I purchased the van, from another Chevy dealer! They have no problem selling you pricey warranties that hardly cover anything. When we picked up the van, I had to pay for the repair, not replacement of the power port, which is electrical and covered under the warranty, if they had replaced it. As the tech handed me the keys, I told him that if he would have replaced the power port the warranty company probably would have paid for it. To which he replied, "Yeah." Now that's customer service! So now I'm out of pocket the price of the repair instead of the warranty company picking up the charge. Maybe it is because the dealership makes more money charging the customer than the warranty company. Can you say COLLUSION! Thanks for nothing, Jerry Rothermel

Your company in Show Low, AZ, sent me an email to choose what type of oil change I wanted. I chose the one $ 74.90 with included tire rotation. They decided to charge me additional 39.95 for rotation of tires. I was not happy...

I was told that my tire could not be patched and had to be replaced. I questioned the technician beleiving my tire could be patched, but the technician confirmed it had to be replaced. I drove to Discount Tire (run flat tire), who (as I suspected) said my tire could be patched, which they did for free.

The reason I took my truck in was not fixed. All other stuff that they were paid to do was done but not warranty issues.

Absolutely horrible customer service! We own a Tahoe with the 6.2 engine and we are having issues with it burning oil, gas in the oil, gas fumes in the cab and it’s running extremely rough! We have brought it in 2 times- both of which we are being blown off and they say there’s nothing wrong! I was sitting in my car at work the other day getting fumigated because of the issue with the fuel smell in the cab. We have contacted GM and also BBB and we are considering hiring an attorney and suing. Apparently because they are the only CHEVY/GM dealer on the mountain they can treat customers like they are not important or they don’t need to do their job. We will never refer or buy another vehicle again from them and will go to PHX for better service.

Chris determined the problem , ordered the parts and the repair was completed. Everything went smoothly.

The Horne Service Department actually did an excellent job for me. They managed to make an appointment for me to have recall work done on my car within the tight window of time I needed. The people I met in the service dept. were friendly and helpful and (big surprise!) the waiting room was very comfortable with coffee, water and snacks available. I didn't expect a pleasant experience, but that's what I received.

Had my vehicle set for its first oil change had an appointment showed up on time. They took it back and finished on time as they said they would very impressed.

Very easy going process

Service Advisor Chris went over and above to help me with the APP for my AMP Power Steps. Originally scheduled for Essential Services for Diesel engines on my 2025 gmc Sierra. When checking in I mentioned an issue with the APP for the power steps. Chris was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and patient. I definitely will be back for next service visit.

Appreciate the sales person not being pushy and made the shopping process more pleasant. She answered our questions or offered to find out if she didn't know. We started at wanting used and ended up buying new.

Setting up the appointment was difficult. I had someone call me, but left no voicemail. When I tried to call back, it was difficult to get directed to the correct thing. I ended up needing to call a few times for information and every time it was because the business called me but everyone would act confused as to why I called. Sometimes I would get a person on the other side that would act annoyed like I was the problem when I was just returning information that I was asked to collect. The phone call situation made me almost cancel and go somewhere else. My actual service went well, but I’m not sure if I would return. It felt unorganized.

Steve was a great person to talk/experience buying a vehicle from. I normally hate dealerships cause of how long they make you spend or try to get every penny outta you. This felt like i was being taken care of instead of takin advantage of. Service member forgot to put lid back on the coolant overflow and the cap had rolled towards the fan blade and got wedged before falling into it. Coolant sprayed everywhere.

I went in for a specific service. I spoke with the service manager on what I wanted to get done for the first hour diog. (Flash and reprogram the TCU) he said they could do that for me. I rented a U-haul and brought my 2014 chevy spark in for this service. I took the day off work to make this appointment. Then I am told what I already told them about the transmission issues and asked to pay for the first hour when they did not preform the service I requested. So I had to go and speak with the service manager about the issue of them not doing what I was paying them to do. After some disrespectful comments from the service manager "I knew this was going to be a problem" and "this is just a mess I knew I shouldent have taken this on" he finally agreed to discount the sergice fe by $80 (the cost of my U-haul Rental because I would have to come back another day to pick up the car) I was not offered anything else to compensate me for having to take another day off work and had a hard time with the service manager just being honorable in trying to make it right by taking up two days of my time when they didn't do what they said the would the first time. So I came a few days later and picked up my car. the service paperwork did not say that they flashed the TCU but they claimed that they did and it did not fix the problem. I paid the discounted fee and left. I don't know if they actually flashed and reprogrammed the TCU like they claimed because they were not being straight forward with me the first time around. There is a service bulliten for this car that says to flash the TCU to try and fix shifting issues and they gave me such a hard time over it. My service rep was professional and kind. But the service manager was the person I called ahead and spoke to to schedule the appointment and was who I had the bad Customer service experience with.
